Everything You Love About Fall Is Waiting For You At Franklin Park’s Harvest Blooms

Posted

strong>One of the prettiest fall displays in Columbus is back at Franklin Park Conservatory, and if you love autumn, you’ll want to make time for a visit.

Harvest Blooms opened on September 26, and there’s still time to catch the seasonal displays before they disappear on November 1. The exhibit is included with general admission, with the Conservatory currently open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

So what can you expect?

“Returning this fall, the Botanical Garden landscapes and containers will be transformed with thousands of pumpkins, chrysanthemums, exquisite cabbages, and more. Wander through vibrant displays of autumn color and explore two charming pumpkin houses that bring autumn whimsy and wonder to life.”

Expect colorful fall flowers, pumpkins galore, and those charming pumpkin houses that make the whole display feel like something straight out of an autumn storybook. It’s a good excuse to take a stroll through the gardens, snap some seasonal photos, and soak up a little fall color before the season slips away.

And if you want to take your pumpkin appreciation into the evening, there’s also Pumpkins Aglow, the Conservatory’s ticketed after-dark fall experience. This year’s event runs on select evenings through November 1, with glowing jack-o’-lanterns, themed displays, interactive activities, and plenty of Halloween atmosphere.

Pumpkins Aglow runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and from 5 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Keep in mind that the Conservatory closes to general-admission visitors at 4 p.m. on Pumpkins Aglow dates before reopening for the evening event, and separate tickets are required.

Of course, you don’t need a special event to enjoy the fall scenery. The Conservatory’s outdoor gardens and surrounding Franklin Park are lovely places to take in the changing leaves, too.

Harvest Blooms is included with general admission, while Pumpkins Aglow requires a separate ticket. For current hours, tickets, and more information about both seasonal experiences, visit the Franklin Park Conservatory website.
